Spring in Bloom, Sharing Lean Insights with Industry Partners. We were delighted to welcome the International Association for Excellence in Operations and over 30 industry professionals focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence to Creation Technologies Changzhou on March 26, 2026.

Located in Wujin National High tech Zone, our site opened its doors to share our lean and intelligent manufacturing journey, and to exchange ideas on driving high-quality development in modern manufacturing.

As one of the thirteen manufacturing site of Creation Technologies — the 7th largest EMS provider in North America — we have long embraced openness and collaboration. This visit was not only a recognition of our lean and operational accomplishments, but also a meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together with industry peers.

Five Years of Lean Transformation: Building Our Path to Excellence

Our General Manager, Jennie Xian, warmly welcomed the delegation and shared our company’s development, core service capabilities, and the progress we have made through five years of lean transformation.

At Creation Technologies Changzhou, we specialize in high-mix, low-volume, high-reliability manufacturing for medical devices, industrial equipment, environmental and energy applications. We support global customers with end-to-end solutions from PCBA to full Box Build assembly.

Over the past five years, we have evolved from traditional batch production to a fully integrated lean and intelligent manufacturing model. By embedding lean principles and implementing our COMS (Creation Operations Management System), we have continuously reduced waste, streamlined workflows, shortened production cycles, and lifted overall manufacturing efficiency.

Supported by digital and intelligent system upgrades, we have built full-process quality control, end-to-end cost tracking, and an intelligent supply chain — strengthening our flexible manufacturing and delivery reliability.

These efforts have been recognized by both government and industry. We have received awards including the 2023 Industrial Land Efficiency Award, 2023 Three-Star Enterprise, 2024 Jiangsu Provincial Demonstration Workshop for Intelligent Manufacturing, and 2025 Changzhou Smart Factory. We also achieved Silver-level Lean Maturity within the global Creation group, becoming a benchmark in Wujin High-tech Zone showcasing how lean intelligent manufacturing unlocks global market opportunities.

Jennie also introduced our “i-Culture” framework — iSafe, iCare, and iGrow — highlighting our people-first culture and commitment to excellence, which was well received by the visiting group.

Sharing Our Lean Journey: From Foundation to Intelligent Transformation

Cindy Liu, our Director of Continuous Improvement, shared the story of our lean transformation in depth. From establishing stable foundations and creating smooth production flows, to advancing automation and digitalization — paired with synchronized upgrades across operations and logistics — she illustrated how a strong lean foundation is essential to sustainable automation and digital success.

At Creation, lean is not a program or a slogan. It is a daily mindset woven into production, management, and culture, reflecting our long-term commitment to continuous improvement.

On-site Experience: Witnessing Lean and Intelligent Manufacturing

After the presentation, guests toured our production facilities, including our SMT lines and assembly workshops, where they experienced firsthand the results of our lean practices and intelligent upgrades.

They observed our clean, organized shop floor, efficient three-tier Compass meeting system, practical LPA layered audit process, and our “nurse mode” material replenishment system supported by AGVs connecting warehouses and production lines. These on-site highlights left a strong impression and sparked lively discussions.

Engaging Dialogue: Exchanging Ideas on Operational Excellence

Following the tour, we held an interactive session covering corporate culture, performance management, and the practical implementation of CI (Continuous Improvement).

Our leadership team responded to questions openly and shared real-world experiences, creating a constructive atmosphere for peer learning. The exchange allowed participants to gain actionable insights while giving us valuable external perspectives.

Continuing Our Lean Journey with Openness and Collaboration

We truly value this visit and exchange with the International Association for Excellence in Operations. It reinforces our progress in lean intelligent manufacturing and reminds us that operational excellence is a lifelong journey, not a destination.

Moving forward, Creation Technologies Changzhou will continue to deepen our lean and intelligent manufacturing capabilities, optimize our operational systems, and strengthen our core competitiveness. We will remain open to industry collaboration, share our learnings, and work with partners to drive innovation in manufacturing.

Together, we will use lean excellence to support high-quality development, expand our global footprint, and write the next chapter of intelligent manufacturing.
